Enjoy bird watching: More than 300 species of bird have been identified on or in the immediate vicinity of the site and the number is steadily rising. Amongst these are 6 Albertine Rift Endemics (AREs), 9 species of cuckoo, and many others of limited range and distribution. Many colourful species, such as turacos, barbets, sunbirds, cuckoos and woodpeckers, frequent the forest edge and can be seen from the verandah of your tent house.
